Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu (1335 meters above sea level):
Upon your arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, a High Hike representative will be there for your warm welcome and help you to transfer to hotel. In free time take rest. In evening join welcome dinner organized by High Hike Team. Overnight.
Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing (1335 meters)
A full day guided half day sightseeing is dedicated to introduce some of the UNESCO World Heritage listed sites of Kathmandu which includes, Soyambhunath- “The Monkey Temple”, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and historical Kathmandu Durbar Square. Enjoy exploring. Overnight in hotel.
Day 3: Kathmandu to Jiri (2100 meters/7-8 hrs drive)
This day we drive to Jiri from Kathmandu. It will a scenic drive to Jiri where views Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, and Dorje Lakpa will entertain us along the way. With seven to eight hours drive we will reach Jiri Bazar for overnight.
Day 4: Jiri to Bhandar:(Up to 2370 meters/6 hrs trek)
Jiri is the starting point of our trekking.From Jiri we walk through dense forest and then climb where we pass Mali-Sherpa village. Further we cross the bridge to Shivalya and reach to Bhandar. We stay overnight at Bhandar.
Day 5: Bhandar to Sete (Up to 2650 meters/5-6hrs trek)
From Bhadrapur, the trail first descends down to Likhu Khola. From there it climbs over the ridge. The trail then passes wonderful Magars and Newars settlements of Kenja. We then cross the Lamjura Pass and finally reach to Sete for overnight.
Day 6: Sete to Junbesi (3530 meters/6-8 hrs trek)
The trail goes through the dense rhododendron forest and reaches Sete. With an hour walk it then reaches Dagchu from the it ascents up reaches the top of Lamjura pass. Further the trail descents through fields and reaches today’s destination Junbesi. We stay overnight in Junbesi.
Day 7: Junbesi to Nuntala (2980 meters/7-8 hrs trek)
Today we first trek to Phaplu which is the administrative center of Solukhumbu. It then goes through oak forest. Further it climbs up the ride at Khurtang where we will get glimpse of Everest, Mera Peaks and Thamserku Himal. From the ridge the trail descend down pass Tragsindho Pass and gradually lead us to Nunthala for overnight.
Day 8: Nuntala to Bupse (2300 meters/7 hrs trek)
From Nunthala the trail descends down to Dudh Koshi River. It then passes many beautiful Magar and Sherpa settlements and eventually takes us to Bupse which has a Gompa to explore. Overnight.
Day 9: Bupse to Choplung (2860 meters/6-8 hrs trek)
This day we will trek to Choplung. The trail goes through Khari La valley and pass a spectacular waterfall before reaching Choplung. In Choplung we will have enough time for rest. Overnight.
Day 10: Choplung to Namche Bazaar (3420 meters/6-8 hrs trek)
This day we will trek to Namche via Phakding walking through Sagarmatha National Park. Namche is once trading center of Khumbu region. We can also enjoy views of Everest, Lhotse-Nuptse ridge from Namche Bazar. Overnight.
Day 11: In Namche Bazaar (3440 meters)
Get acclimatized while exploring the local markets and mingling with the people of Namche Bazaar. Walk up to the Everest view point to glimpse your final destination and visit the local cultural museum. Overnight.
Day 12: Namache Bazar to Tengboche( 3870m./12,694ft.)
From Namche, you head towards Tengboche. It will be scenic ups and downs walk which offers stunning mountains views including Mt Everest, Mt Nuptse, Mt Lhotse and close views of Thamserkhu and Amadablam. It takes approx. 6 hours to reach Tengboche. Tengboche is one of the best view point of Everest region and has the biggest Buddhist Monastery of Khumbu Region. O/N.
Day 13: Tengboche to Dingboche(4,360/12,694ft.):
After breakfast, start trekking of Dingboche. The trail passes Pangboche where the oldest Monastery of Khumbu region lies. After 6 hours approx. walk reach Tengboche. Tengboche is another Mountain View point in Everest Region.
Day 14: Acclimatization day in Dingboche:
As the elevation rise this day take a rest day at Dingboche. It is better to hike Nagarstang hill before lunch. After lunch, take rest.
Day 15: Dingboche to Labuche(4940m./16,207ft.)
Labuche is in 5 hours walking distance from Dingboche. This day our trail offers to view Khumbu icefall. Passing several frozen rivers and typically design stone house we reach Labuche.
Day 16: Labuche to Gorakshep(5,170m./16961ft.)-Everest Base Camp (5,364m./17,594ft.)-Gorakshep:
A day when we achieve our dream. Start early morning, it is quite long walking day (8-9 hours) but a worthwhile one. From Labuche, we first get to Gorakshep (lunch-place), then hike up to Everest Base Camp. Spend some times in base camp of highest mountain, click some memories and leave your footprints. After then we will trek back to Gorakshep. Gorakshep itself offers the magnificent views of Himalayas. O/N
Day 17: Gorakshep to Kalapathar(5545m./18,192ft.)-Pheriche(4280m./14,070ft.)
Early morning, hike Kalapathar (5545m.)- Best mountain view point which offers the stunning views including: Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse and other neighboring peaks. Enjoy the picturesque views. Then take descend trail to trek Pheriche.O/N.
Day 18: Pheriche to Namche
An easy walking day. With 4 hours gentle walk from Pheriche we reach Namche Bazar. It is the same way back via Tengboche. O/N.
Day 19: Namche to Phakding
Start trekking relatively later than other days. From Namche the trail descends steeply via Dudh Koshi River. We pass Jorsalle and Monjo before reaching Phakding. It will be 5 hours trekking this day. O/N.
Day 20: Phakding to Lukla
With 3-4 hours descend trail trek from Phakding will take to Lukla. In evening there will be a farewell dinner with Sherpa and Guides. O/N.
Day 21: Fly back from Lukla to Kathmand
: With early morning 30 minutes flight we will fly back to Kathmandu. In free time you can either take rest or can do some last minutes shopping in Thamel. Even will be for farewell dinner with High Hike team.
Day 22: Fly back home
A High Hike representative will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for returning flight. We hope to see you again in Nepal.
