Langtang Helambu Trek is one the best trekking in Langtang Region. One of the most loved trekking in Nepal offers to explore the culture and living style of Tamang and Sherpa ethnics of Langtang.Trekking in Langtang also offers to view snow-capped mountains of Langtang Region including Langtang Lirung, Gaurishankar, Dorje Lakpa, Ganesh Himal, Yala Peak and more.
This trek also advances to encounter with some of the wild animals of Langtang National Park which includes wild animals such as endangered Red Panda, Musk deer, Rhesus Monkey, Common Langur, Black Bear, Himalayan Thar and more. 
Gosaikunda, a mountain lake situated at 4380m is another highlight of Langtang Helambu Trek. Roaring glaciers of Langtang and the wonderful Helambu Valley are major factors why people love trekking Langtang. 
Day 1:Kathmandu.(1334m.)- Upon your arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu a High Hike representative will be there for your warm welcome and help you to transfer you to the hotel. Take rest, get refreshed from jetlag. In evening you will be joining a welcome dinner with High Hike Team. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2:Syabrubesi.(1420m.)- Set off to Syabrubesi. On the way you will offer with superb views of green hills and small villages. We cross Trishuli Bazar, Betrawati and then Dhunche before reaching Syabrubesi. It takes 9 hours approx. drive to reach Syabrubesi. Stay overnight at Syabrubesi. 
Day 3:Lama Hotel.(2470m.): From Syabrubesi the trails first descends where we walk through woods. It then ascends a 
Starting day of our trekking, from Syabrubesi the trail first descends then turns northwards, passing through woods, sometimes filled with monkeys. A ascending trail brings us to a junction with the trail from Thulo Syabru. The region is deciduous, rich in birdlife and home to the extremely elusive red panda. (aprox.6hrs)
Day 4:Langtang Village.(3430m.)- Take steep up trail and follow the Langtang Khola to climb Ghora Tabela which gives a glimpse of Mount Langtang Lirung. From there continue the trekking pass Thangshep valley before reaching Langtang. It taks approx. 6 hours to reach Langtang. Langtang is a beautiful village which looks like Tibetan settlement. Stay overnight at one of the teahouse. 
Day 5:Kyanjin Gompa.(3730m.)- A short trekking day. From Langtang we follow beautiful stream and cross the yak pastures. Along the way today we also pass some small but beautiful Tamang villages including Mundu and Sindum before leading us to Kyanjin Gompa. Kyanjin Gompa offers the stunning views of Langtang range and Langhisa Himal. Stay overnight at teahouse. 
Day 6:Kyanjin Gompa.(3730m.)- A rest day in Kyanjin Gompa. After breakfast hike up to Tserko Ri (5,000 m) for mesmerizing views of  Langtang range, Kinshung, Yansa Tsenji and also watch Lirung Glacier. After lunch, visit Yak cheese factory and taste fresh yak cheese. Enjoy your day. Overnight at teahouse.
Day 7:Lama Hotel.(2470m.)- Follow the same route back to Lama Hotel. The trail first descent before crossing river then it ascent up to Thulo Syabru where you will be rewarded with superb views of Langtang and neighboring mountains. Stay overnight at Lama Hotel. 
Day 8:Thulo Syabru.(2130m.)- From Thulo Syabru the route first get to Bamboo Lodge then takes an ascent trail to reach Thulo Syabru. Thulo Syabru us a typical Sherpa settlement where the warm hearts of Sherpa people will make you warm and loved. Stay overnight at hotel. 
Day 9:Laurebina.(3900m)- Climb up to Dursagang , then walk through the dense rhododendron forest and reach Chandan Bari. From there the trail heads towards Chalang Pati. With shot trek from Chalang Pati we finally reach to today overnight place Lauribina. Lauribina offers superb views of Annapurna, Manslum Ganesh Himal and Langtang Lirung Himal. Enjoy the views. Stay overnight at hotel. 
Day 10:GoshainKunda.(4380m.)- Today we hike to Gosaikunda Lake. Along the way we can see two beautiful lakes namely Saraswoti Kunda and Bhairab Kunda. It takes 5/6 hours to reach Gosaikunda. In Gosaikunda we will have enough time for exploration. Overnight at a teahouse. 
Day 11:Ghopte.(3430m.) : Comparatively hard and challenging day of trekking. From Gosaikunda the trails directs towards north and ascents up where one of the challenging pass Laurebina La Pass (4,610m.) waits us. The pass is a bit challenging. After completing the pass we then reach to Phedi. From there we continue our trek and reach Ghopte for overnight. Stay overnight at teahouse. 
Day 12:Thadepati.(3510m.)-As it was a hard previous day, this day we start late. From Ghopte the trial goes alpine landscape and with 3 hours gentle walk we reach Thadepati. Overnight at Thadepati. 
Day 13:Kutumsang.(2470m.)-Take early breakfast and get ready to trek to Kutumsang. The trail goes via Mangengoth and slowly it takes us to Kutumsang. Kutumsang is wonderful Tamang village where we get chance to know about local cultures and will get chance to explore the beautiful village.
Day 14:Chisopani.(2215m.)-  From Kutumsang the trail first goes to Gulbhanjyang (2,142m.),from there it ascents up through oak forest and reach Namche Danda. It then descent down to Chipling (2,165m.). A gentle walk from Chipling finally takes us to Chisopani. Stay overnight at Chisopani.

Day 15:Kathmandu.(1334m.)- The steep down trail from Chisopani via Burlang Bhanjyang takes us to Sundarijal where our private vehicle awaits. Catch the bus at Sundraijal and drive back to Kathmandu. In free time take rest in your hotel. In evening join farewell dinner organize by High Hike Team. 
Day 16: Fly Back Home: A High Hike representative will accompany you to Tribhuvan International Airport to catch your returning flight. We hope to see you soon. Namaste.
