Day 1: Arrival in Kathamandu (1,334m.)

Upon your arrival in Tribhuvan Internationa Airport, Kathmandu, a High Hike  representative will be there for your warm welcome and help you to transfer to the hotel. In free time get refreshed from long jetlag. In evening join welcome dinner organize by High Hike  Team. Overnight.

 

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing (1,334m.)

A guided full day sightseeing is dedicated to introduce some of the UNESCO World Heritage listed sites in Kathmandu including Soyambhunath- “The Monkey Temple”, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

 

Day 3: Drive to Arughat (570m.)

Today we will travel to Arughat. It takes approx. 8 hours to reach Arughat. Today we stay overnight in Arughat at a local tea house.

 

Day 4: Trek to Soti Khola( 730m. / 5-6 hours trek)

Here begins our trekking. From Arughat we follow Budhi Gandaki River bank, after passing some beautiful villages of Morder and Simre we reach today’s destination Soti Khola. We stay overnight in Soti Khola.

 

 Day 5: Soti Khola to Machha Khola (930 m. / 5-6 hours trek)

The trail first descends and crosses the bridge, it then ascends up to the mountain ridge of Almara then goes through the forest to Riden Gaon and eventually takes us to Labubesi. From there we further trek to Machha Khola for overnight.

 

Day 7: Maccha Khola -Jagat (1410m/6-7 hours trek)

The trail today goes frequently ascends and descends as we head towards Jagat. Budhi Gandaki River will be our friend all day and we also passes natural hot spring of Tatopani on the way to jagat.

 

Day 8: Jagat to Ngyak (2310m/5-6 hours trek)

After ascending to a terraced hill of Saguleri and view of Sringi Himal (7177 meters) we continue toward Sirish Gaon, Gandaki valley narrows from herewith soaring precipitous walls and reach to Ngyak for overnight.

 

Day 9: Ngyak to Ghap (2100m)

From Ngyak the trail follows the trail of Deng Khola-a small village.From there we walk through newly built rock tunnel to reach Ghap. Ghap is Tibetan culture influenced village with Mani stones and Chortens. Overnight in Ghap.

 

Day 10: Ghap to Lho (3200m/6-7 hours

We first past a seasonal settlement Nambachhe then ascend through dense forest to get Namrung which is a Tibetan base village. Along the way we pass several small but wonderful villages before reaching Lho. Lho is a stunning view point of Manaslu mountains from where we also can collect the fabulous sunrise and sunset views. Overnight.

 

Day 11: Lho to Sama Gaon (3500m/6-7 hours trek)

We trek through the forest to reach Shyala. From Shyala our trail goes through alpine scenery and eventually leads us past Pung Gyan Gomap to Sama Gaon. Overnight in Sama Gaon.

 

Day 12: Sama Gaon to Samdo (3850m/ 5-6 hours trek)

An easy trekking day but a wonderful one when we can get incredible mountain views along the way. Enjoy walking with stunning views of mighty Himalayas. Overnight in Samdo.

 

  Day 13: Acclimatization and exploration day

As we gain the altitude; this day is for acclimatization. We will spend a day here in order to acclimatize and adjust to the thinning of the air and also for local excursion. Overnight in Samdo.

 

Day 14: Samdo to Dharamsala/Larkya Phedi (4460m/4-5 hours trek)

As we first trek to Dharmasala, the trail first descends and crosses a wodden bridge of Budhi Gandaki then it ascends to lead us to Dharmasala. Overnight.

 

Day 15: Cross Larkya La (5215m) and trek to Bimtang (3590m) (6-7 hours trek)

From Dharmasala the trail climbs up to valley situated on the north of Larkya Glaciers from where we can enjoy marvelous views of Cho Danda and Larkya Peak. We then cross Larkya pass with viewing Cheo Himal, Annapurna II,Himlung Himal and Kang Guru. We then trek to Bimthang for overnight.

 

Day 16: Bimthang to Tilje (2500m/6-7 hours trek)

The trail from Bhimthang goes some ups and downs and take us to today’s destination Tilje. We stay overnight at Tilje.

 

Day 17:  Tilije to Tal (1700m/5-6 hours trek)

Setting destination Tal, today we trek through some beautiful villages including Thonje, Dharapani and Karte.  It takes approx. 6 hours to reach Tal from Tilje. Tal is a beautiful village which is located at the bottom massive waterfall. Overnight in Tal.

 

Day 18: Tal – Syange (1080m/6-7 hours trek)

Today we trek through the dense forest of rhododendron and pine forest via Chymaje to reach Syange. As this is the last day of our trekking we stay overnight in Syange.

 

Day 19: Syange – Kathmandu (8-9 hours drive)

Today we travel back to Kathmandu by bus via Beshi Sahar. In Kathmandu you can take rest for some time then can do some last minutes shopping around Thamel. In evening join farewell dinner with High Hike  team in the celebration of success of Manaslu Circuit Trek. Overnight.

 

Day 20: Fly back home

A High Hike  representative will accompany you to Tribhuvan International airport to catch your returning flight. We hope to see you again in Nepal.
